Hello Adventurers! Today

Hello Adventurers! Today we are back in Switzerland, 10,000 feet up at Schilthorn. Look closely, my friends. You can see the ski tracks on the slope. First off thats awesome! Secondly, oh he-ll no! There is never a time that Im like, yeah Ill ski that. I dont do anything gracefully. Let me tell you why. When I was about 14 years old I was in my hometown in Pennsylvania. We had a ski resort close by, Montage Mountain. I decided to take my first attempt at skiing. Did it go well, you ask? Nope! I fell off the ski lift at the top and the lift was still running over top of me. They had to stop the lift and get me up. Did I stop there, you ask? NOPE! I shouldve. I continued down the slope and I ran down a family at the bottom, yes a whole family. I yelled, get out of the way!!! They didnt move and I ran straight through the middle of them knocking down two children and grandma. Not grandma. J/k. . But it was a terrible experience that Ill never forget. What was your embarrassing experience in life??? . GAME ALERT INFO . Ok, so I posted this week about a game called Riddle Mooo This. Starting next Moody Monday, Im going to post a travel related riddle along with my ramblings, and quotes. The first person to answer the riddle along with one tagged person gets a shoutout on my IGS. If you dont choose to play, you can just comment as you usually do. It would get you ahead of the game, if you turn on alerts also! The rules may change in the future and the games will too. Also, you saw the hashtag, GotCowed. If you hashtag that to your selfie in some sort of nature or tag @jasonmillerphotography to your photo Ill do a shoutout also at the end of the week of the person who does the best job! . #switzerlandwonderland #switzerland_vacations #swissalps #alps #alpsmountains #switzerland #switzerland #inlovewithswitzerland #iloveswitzerland #ig_switzerland #schilthorn #murren #lauterbrunnen #schweiz #aargau #mountainstones #mountainview #mountainlovers #choosemountains #from_your_perspective #takeahike #hikevibes #skiing #ski #snowboardlife #earth_shotz #nature_brilliance #earthpic #007 #mountainman

Hiking Creux du Van - the natural rock arena that may lead to Rolling Stones. Vacation tip: Not shown here, but this 160 meter high vertical rock faces an impressive 4 kilometer long and over 1 kilometer wide valley basin. An extract on #switzerlandwonderland

Soon Jason reached the court of Phineus of Salmydessus in Thrace. Zeus had sent the harpies to steal the food put out for Phineas each day. Jason took pity on the emaciated king and killed the Harpies when they returned; in other versions, Calais and Zetes chase the harpies away. In return for this favor, Phineas revealed to Jason the location of Colchis and how to pass the Symplegades, or The Clashing Rocks, and then they parted.

Born in Sutton, Surrey, Major grew up in Brixton. He initially worked as an insurance clerk, and then at the London Electricity Board, before becoming an executive at Standard Chartered. He was first elected to the House of Commons at the 1979 general election as the Member of Parliament for Huntingdon. He served as a Parliamentary Private Secretary, Assistant Whip and as a Minister for Social Security. In 1987 he was appointed Chief Secretary to the Treasury, and then as Foreign Secretary two years later. Just three months later in October 1989, he was again moved to Chancellor of the Exchequer, where he presented the 1990 budget. Major became Prime Minister after Thatcher's reluctant resignation in November 1990. He presided over UK participation in the Gulf War in March 1991, and negotiated the Maastricht Treaty in December 1991. He went on to lead the Conservatives to a fourth consecutive electoral victory, winning the most votes in British electoral history with over 14,000,000 votes in the 1992 general election, albeit with a reduced majority in the House of Commons. Shortly after this, even though a staunch supporter of the Exchange Rate Mechanism (ERM), his government became responsible for British exit from the ERM after Black Wednesday on 16 September 1992. This event led to a loss of confidence in Conservative economic policies and Major was never able to achieve a lead in opinion polls again. Despite the eventual revival of economic growth amongst other successes such as the beginnings of the Northern Ireland peace process, by the mid-1990s, the Conservative Party was embroiled in scandals involving various MPs (including cabinet ministers). Criticism of Major's leadership reached such a pitch that he chose to resign as party leader in June 1995, challenging his critics to either back him or challenge him; he was duly challenged by John Redwood but was easily re-elected. By this time, the Labour Party had abandoned its socialist ideology and moved to the centre under the leadership of Tony Blair and won a large number of by-elections, eventually depriving Major's government of a parliamentary majority in December 1996. Major went on to lose the 1997 general election five months later, in one of the largest electoral defeats since the Great Reform Act of 1832. Major was succeeded by William Hague as Leader of the Conservative Party in June 1997. He went on to retire from active politics, leaving the House of Commons at the 2001 general election. In 1999, a BBC poll of 20th-century British prime ministers ranked him 17th.
