The legendary Yok-Yok: Ci

The legendary Yok-Yok: City-Kiosk, Museum, hangout-zone. If you ever feel to drink a nice german beer in a casual area in Ffm, definitely check out this place. The amount of people shown is nothing special for this place and speaks for itself. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . #urbanandstreet #urbanrising #streetshared #streetframe #streets_vision #streetmagazine #heatercentral #createcommune #createexplore #exploretocreate #special_shots #cityscapes #citylights #just_features #sunset_vision #reflectiongram #way2ill #illgrammers #sonyPictures #a6300 #igers_frankfurt #dasechtefrankfurt #welovefrankfurt #frankfurtdubistsowunderbar #igers_germany_official #smcffm #nightphotography #ig_germany #ig_deutschland #yokyok

There are models of Zermelo-Fraenkel set theory in which the axiom of choice is false. We shall abbreviate "Zermelo-Fraenkel set theory plus the negation of the axiom of choice" by ZFC. For certain models of ZFC, it is possible to prove the negation of some standard facts. Note that any model of ZFC is also a model of ZF, so for each of the following statements, there exists a model of ZF in which that statement is true. There exists a model of ZFC in which there is a function f from the real numbers to the real numbers such that f is not continuous at a, but f is sequentially continuous at a, i.e., for any sequence {xn} converging to a, limn f(xn)=f(a). There exists a model of ZFC which has an infinite set of real numbers without a countably infinite subset. There exists a model of ZFC in which real numbers are a countable union of countable sets. There exists a model of ZFC in which there is a field with no algebraic closure. In all models of ZFC there is a vector space with no basis. There exists a model of ZFC in which there is a vector space with two bases of different cardinalities. There exists a model of ZFC in which there is a free complete boolean algebra on countably many generators. For proofs, see Jech (2008). There exists a model of ZFC in which every set in Rn is measurable. Thus it is possible to exclude counterintuitive results like the BanachTarski paradox which are provable in ZFC. Furthermore, this is possible whilst assuming the Axiom of dependent choice, which is weaker than AC but sufficient to develop most of real analysis. In all models of ZFC, the generalized continuum hypothesis does not hold.

In ancient times, there were various explanations for the name Aegean. It was said to have been named after the Greek town of Aegae, or after Aegea, a queen of the Amazons who died in the sea, or Aigaion, the "sea goat", another name of Briareus, one of the archaic Hecatonchires, or, especially among the Athenians, Aegeus, the father of Theseus, who drowned himself in the sea when he thought his son had died. A possible etymology is a derivation from the Greek word aiges = "waves" (Hesychius of Alexandria; metaphorical use of (aix) "goat"), hence "wavy sea", cf. also (aigialos = aiges (waves) + hals (sea)), hence meaning "sea-shore". The Venetians, who ruled many Greek islands in the High and Late Middle Ages, popularized the name Archipelago (Greek for "main sea" or "chief sea"), a name that held on in many European countries until the early modern period. In some South Slavic languages the Aegean is often called White Sea (Belo more in Serbian, in Macedonian and Byalo more in Bulgarian).
